So here it is, my 27th birthday weekend! Yesterday was officially my birthday, but my internet was down so I wasn't able to blog :( Anyways, here are my thoughts on the 2 7:
At 21, life couldn't be better, I had no "getting older" fears.
When I reached 25, that's when the true "pre-mid life crisis" issues took over.
27 is more than just an age to me. Through my entire life up to now, 27 was the golden age to get married. I always dreamed of getting married at 27. Now, as reality knocks down my dreams, I am not married. Everyone I know gives me great advice about marriage: there IS no perfect age. It's all about your life time-clock.
I hope this year brings more clarity to life. Every one of us mid-20 year olds can all agree that we're not yet settled. There are still a lot of questions that need answers, and directions to our purpose.
I'm happy to say that I'm satisfied at 27. I hope to keep my youth and ambition until the end~
